Ok , I own the Lemon Oil (Dunlop).
Brilliant thing , makes my fingerboard like new one.

But you know guys ... after hours of playing and practice you leave nasty things on fretboards ... sweat.
I'm searching for good cleaner , which I can use after playing or restringing without anxiety that I can damage fretboard ... ( I found that this lemon oil should be used 2-3 per year so you know ...)

This will be ok ?

Thats what I use and it works great...then I apply the Lemon oil and it's back to new...DON'T use on maple boards!!! Ebony and rosewood its fine.....also, for the grime, you can use 0000 steel wool (go with the grain)

I don't clean my boards too often, but when I do... I just use rubbing alcohol dabbed on an old rag and really wipe the grime off of there. Then I put a nice thick coat of lemon oil on and leave it to soak into the board for a little while. Then I just wipe off the excess oil with another [clean] rag and she's good to go. I've been doing this for 28 years on all sorts of guitars (from PRS Customs to nice classicals) and have had no issues.

I'm only using Gerlitz Guitar Honey on my fretboards, it seems to do the job. That said, I only have a couple of guitars that use it. The others have finish on the fretboards, or in the case of my Parkers, composite fretboards.

Hmm , how often you clean fretboard guys ?

I'm wonder if only a microfibre cloth will be enough , or I should buy any "care product" to care my fretboard properly.
Alcohol on fretboard ? Gush , it scary me ... Just look what it can do with human

Once a year, but since I don't gig much my guitars don't get very dirty.

Thank you and other but unfortunately I can buy only "worldwide products" like dunlop , ghs , planet waves etc ...

I've been using the dunlop 01 Fingerboard Cleaner & Prep with great results for years on my ebony board Gibson and my brazilian rosewood board PRS. I highly recommend it! I use it everytime I change strings. Don't apply it directly to the board but spray some on a clean cloth and rub down the whole board and frets.

If the fingerboard is dry I use RAW linseed oil after I've cleaned the board, which you can get at your local hardware store. Just make sure you get the RAW kind. My guitar tech used this on my PRS and I just used it recently on my Gibson with excellent results! I will admit that I was a bit reluctant because various tech suggest different types of oil, but the board was really dry and now I couldn't be happier with the results.

Anything with petroleum distillates is bad for your fretboard...even if it appears to be doing a good job. This includes Dunlop, Gibson, LaRoche-Thomas, and many other commercially available fretboard oils.
The vast majority of "lemon oil" is simply lemon scented mineral oil...smells nice but doesn't truly condition anything but the surface of the wood.
For cleaning, I use Gorgomyte...works well and actually polishes the frets too. You can also use a slightly dampened cloth and scrub the dirt off of the board.
For conditioning, I have yet to find anything that works as well as Fret Doctor. Try it and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
