Hey there

Here is a full production where I used the Kemper on all Electric guitars, except the bass. I DI'd the bass then used amplitube for some grind on the bass, not the best distortion for the bass as it sounds kinda fake but I didn't want to run outboard and deal with sync etc. Music has synth elements because its for a specific project. All Guitar Efx were done inside Pro Tools

I didn't eq the guitars coming from the Kemper, just some overall EQ on the master.

I used the Stock Xtacy 4 for the top guitar, and the Stock Mesa Roadking patch paired with a user Recto Patch for the Rythm portion

Oh cool, I was thinking something Mesa'ish. I didn't realize it came with amps in it - I thought you just recorded your own amp. Very cool!

It comes with a ton of amps in there. some pretty great actually. 2 stock patches here. While all my stuff usually ends up sounding somewhat similar and this type of track doesn't really showcase something like this off, I found that the guitars sat in the mix much easier then other modellers I have used (haven't tried the Axe 2), but they sat in great, and I don't really hear that digitized fake top end like I did before (once again old Axe, I am sure II is far beyond)

I will do some other styles later when I can that showcases more then just heavy distortion. But the clean in the kemper are stellar to

Damn sir. Sounds really good in the mix. I am really impressed with the stock patches. Good stuff

I am sure the axe 2 or other modelers would sound prob the same but it was really easy to get these patches jivin. I didn't have to touch them

When it comes to direct recordings and modelors, I can usually tell them apart. I think I would have been burned on this

Im digging the drum sounds to! What did you use?
