Fire fire everywhere level 2 evacuation what to grab

The fire is still going, at least 28 homes burnt to the ground. Burning embers flew over several blocks including mine, and started a big warehouse fire. That warehouse fire spread to two additional warehouses. My place is safe now, and at level 1 evacuation.

I've been there twice; once at 4am, with the fire literally burning the roof of my pool house.

I had pre-loaded the car with amp heads, guitars, some clothes for everyone, and had a "to go" bag, with birth certificates, ss cards, insurance doc's, etc. by the door.

After I got the wife and kids out, I had a few minutes to grab a laptop, computer tower, and some additional clothing and load them in my car; in hindsight, I probably should have done that sooner, and had it in the car, but the wind was moving away, when we went to bed.

The great thing is, you have warning, so make sure and use the time wisely.

Another backpack I had MacBook, iPad, A few guns

I didn't want to have to try to do it all when it was too late, luckily nothing happened and I unloaded everything this morning

Yup... 3 years in a row now it's been burning it up all over here. I think we even smoked out the eastside one of them years.

I think the state needs to put some sky crane helo's, and some super scoopers at Pangborn for fire season we need em!!!
