So the guitar player called me yesterday and asked if I be game to do a show out on LI without a rehearsal for next sat and I said sure. He thought I wouldn't want to drive 2 &1/2 hours round trip to play for 30 minutes... now he knows otherwise  Anyways, not necessarily spamming this gig but, if anyone wants to say hello, I am doing my 1st gig with my new band:

Flames of Fury
femaled fronted power metal band

Here's the flyer:

Good luck and have fun! My buddy Joe plays guitar in the band Awaken that is playing with you.

Good luck Ivan! I'm sure you will do a killer job.

Good luck! im sure you will do great. be sure to post on how it all went

I don't see a wah wah pedal so that can't be the Hamster

Good luck with gig too

Good luck man!! Enjoy yourself

Why does everyone look kinda angry on the flyer?

Leave it up to you to be playing a gig about 15 minutes from my house the day that I have people coming over

Have a great gig

Have a great time. Kill Devil Hill is a cool opening spot. Nice guys and killer live!

Show went well. As least an 8 on a scale from 1-10 which is REALLY good because:

A. The 5 of us have NEVER played before together (three of us have & 2 of us haven't), not even a rehearsal!
B. The typical opening band red headed stepchild syndrome, a 15 seconds per instrument soundcheck.

I met Rex Brown who is very cool as is Vinny Appice. Kill Devil Hill's tech Rob Star is also a very cool guy. By the way, the day the pic in my original post was taken I met Mike Lepond, the bassist from Symphony X, who also is super cool. So I guess bassists are the coolest/down to earth band members? ;) Kill Devil Hill sounds good by the way, a modern sounding band with guitar solos! I couldn't stay the whole night as I had to pick up my son and the show started late but, I had fun and no nervous jitters at all the whole night surprisingly!

Very cool Ivan, You are one hell of a guitarist to take that challenge

No of course not, I used a Gustavson Bluesmaster as a PRS is no where near booteek enough. I also used a Dumble with a matching 4X10 cab and a couple of original Way Huge pedals :gethim:

Using the secret HOM deciphering code, you'll discover the substitutes are:

Ibanez RGA321F
Egnater Vengeance (with a venue provided crap cab)
A Cable (no stinking pedals  )
