Just saw 5fdp sat night along w hatebreed n all that remains. Don't know how you guys can hate on them. Dam they are spot on w a kick ass show. Jason hook solos are so smooth n precise. Rhythm wise the sound was huge. Tight as all get out. They are a crowd pleaser n interact w the crowd very well. Picked out some young kids and brought them up on stage w them. Very cool!
 
Jason is a good friend of mine...and a f'n amazing player.
I love 5FDP.
 
I think they are a really good band actually, love the singers voice and the guitar work is great too. I think the one dude should lose the cheesy dreads and they would have instant cred :)
 
For me the whole band is a great fit. Singer is awesome n you can still understand his vocals. They r unique band. One of my favs
 
Considering how much shit is being doled out of the labels, it's hard to come across anything worthy or original or, god forbid, laden with talent. Albeit 5FDP isn't my go to band, I've watched them since they made their debut back in the day (what, 2005 or thereabouts, well before Jason joined) and I thought they had something going on. I think they're just getting better with time.

Glad you enjoyed the show - that's what it's all about.
 
Love 5FDP! WAR is a masterpiece, the new one is growing on me...I'd love to see them live. Killer studio sounds on the last 2 discs
 
Saw the show on sunday in NJ, hell of a show put on by all three bands.
 
No pyro it was at the Starland too small of a place, Was packed though I heard they had to turn people away

With a name like five finger death punch, I wouldn't take anything they actually say all that seriously :lol: :LOL:

I need to give these guys a genuine listen.
 
Love them, the guitar player has a really nice fill when doing solo's.
 
My Drummer went and seen them with Rob Zombie this past summer. WE razzed him about Five Finger Death punch.
The song that was getting radio play at the time just sucked ass. :lol: :LOL:
We are all older.....hit the Big 40 this year and this didnt seem like something I would like.
He came back from the show and told us that Five Finger THREW DOWN and damn near stole the show. :yes:
Thought he was joking but he was dead serious. Said dont judge them by the radio play shit.
Bought the CD and man.....some good stuff there. Wish I would of seen the show. :(
 
I'm 38 n always open to new music grew up in the 80s ( no more fkn reverb) but always searching for heavy bands w actual singers. 5fdp delivers!!!
 
I hear ya man.......Didnt care for the Radio play song....but the other tracks SLAM!
Glad I took off the blinders. :thumbsup:
Just some of the newer bands that come out.... :bleh:
