Thinking about a 120w metal mod for my 6505+. Who's done one and what were
the results? Looking for some sound bites or videos other than just what's on FJA
site.
 
I just had a 5150 sent in for the 60 watt metal mod (w/ el34/6l6 option). I'll be making clips once it arrives. :D

Do it! Watch the clip of Nick demo/ing the 120watt 5150 metal mod on YouTube. The amp does sound just like that , except better in person. No bs. Jerry takes care of you and does fantastic work. He doesn't give up til you're happy. My FJA metal modded 5152 is the only amp that has stood the test of time and hasn't even been thought of putting up on the chopping block!
 
I've been using Jerry @ FJA mods since 2003 to build custom pedals, switch box's, buffers, wahs, Amps, mods and more. The guy will not bullshit you and will not over charge you for shit your don't need , and ! he won't hack your amp into pieces and ! most importantly his amps sounds killer! !

If you want the real deal, he's your man. He always comes through with a solution to whatever wacky ideas and configurations i come up with! :lol: :LOL:
 
Huge +1 to Jerry's work, sounds fantatic. If the Marshall 1987 Ihad would have had a dedicated clean channel, I would never have sold it!
