Flat headphones for mixing question... any Sonarworks users?

Hey all,
I'm starting to dabble more and more into late night recording and come to realize my headphones (Sony MDR7506) totally suck for mixing. I read good things about Sonarworks plugins and how they can adjust unflat headphones like mine in particular and make them better for mixing. I tried their headphone calibration demo last night and it really helped. The plugin itself is $99 bucks so yeah they cost more than my crappy headphones.

I'm just curious what some of you home recording types are using for headphones that have a good flat reference sound. Also curious if anyone uses the Sonarworks plugin with a specific headphone with good results or even the Sonarworks speaker calibration software for their monitors?

Better to just get a better set of headphones? I realize it is better to mix with a good set of monitors overall but I work odd hours so for now its all about headphones. Thanks!

I've never used that plugin, so I can't comment on it.

Headphone wise I'm using the Blue Mo-Fi and Audio-Technica ATH-50X. The Mo-Fi's are flatter and what I would use if I could only use one of these. The ATH-50X are a little scooped/hyped in comparison to the Mo-Fi, but a lot of people like them and have success with them.

Wow those Blue mo-fi look trippy... I'm looking at one that has "Integrated audiophile amp and custom-matched drivers".. wow

Thanks guys!
