Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been posted, but are there any differences in performance between these two bridges, besides cosmetically (like the beveling on the 1000)?

I talked with Floyd Rose and what they told me was the 1000 model was an OEM only bridge that used the same steel and design as the German (Schaller) stamped unit. Further, the Korean die is new, so the saddles on the 1000 actually have more accurate string slots.

I prefer the Schaller arm, but that is a personal thing.

As in, "I personally believe it should actually work?" ;)

My only issue with my 1000 series trem, but it shouldn't have surprised me, since the Korean ones have ALWAYS sucked.

It just doesn't "feel" right. Once you swap the arm, it is hard to tell the difference between the trems.
