The low E saddle block on my Floyd is stuck, so that I can't get the string in deep enough to string up. It just keeps popping out. The saddle block won't come out either. Any suggestions?

Get a small screwdriver and shove it down in there to move it back, allowing the string to be inserted. Ideally, you should take the saddle off and replace that block as you've been tightening your floyd too much and caused the block to crack + expand.

I tried the screwdriver thing before I posted. Nothing. Not enough room. Is the only option to replace it?

I used to use a small Nail. Tap it in there and it will break the block loose.

Use more force and keep at it. See if you can work some small needle nose pliers in there to shift it.

This exactly. And don't tighten them so much Hercules. ;)

You need a tiny screwdriver...like the ones used for eye glasses. It'll work, you just have to pry it from the front and from the back a little at a time

Mine are so bad I have to wack on the screwdriver to move them...lol
I guess its time for some tlc..

I've alwasy tightened that one really hard cos the string would never stay in. I realize that it was cos the string was never going in all the way now.

Cool. I'm gonna have to find on that fits. All of mine are too big to fit in there.

Had same problem just now and came up with a better solution. Move the block to one side, either forwards or backwards so you create a space. Then straighten one side of a paper clip. Grab a needlenose pliers and bend a 90 degree hook into it and insert hook sideways into the space. Turn the paper clip so you rotate the hook under the block. Then grasp paperclip with pliers and pry the block out. Mine came out like a dream. This way, no wiggling and potentially creating bad gashes in block oriface.
