I ordered a Marshall Guv'nor reissue a little over a week ago. Ordered from Zzounds who had it on backorder then shipped it a day later. I typically get orders from them within 2-3 days. So I got the shipping notification that it would be delivered the following Monday. Monday rolls around and it's in the next town over. Around 4:30 I get an update that it would be delivered Friday. Friday comes and goes and today I got a notification that it is scheduled to be delivered this coming Friday.
I'm not sure how it can sit 30 minutes away for basically 2 weeks? I usually take this as a bad sign that they have lost it. Anyway just venting.

On the bright side I'm glad Marshall reissued these pedals. I'm typically not the kind of guy who tries to replicate bands rigs but I'm a sucker for Carcass, Obituary, and Bolt Thrower. But Marshall posted a settings vid that had a tone dialed in similar to The Cult which I really dig. Since this is supposed to be an amp in the box type pedal have any of you guys used something like this with a power amp?

I'm currently playing bass for a band but as a guitarist it's easier for me to come up with riffs on guitar vs trying to show it on bass so I was thinking of putting together a little rig to use to show my ideas. Thinking of getting a simple magnum power amp or something similar to use along with it as a grab and go rig since I don't need to use full sized amp.
 
Check with FedEx - give them the tracking number and ask if you can pick it up in person. I know that’s the standard routine once they failed to deliver and a door tag was left at the residence or business.
 
"Since it hasn't passed the delivery date it can not be picked up". Even though it keeps getting pushed back. I'm not really in any hurry for it just annoying that it is taking them 2 weeks to ship a pedal from NJ to NC. I've had 4x12 and 4x10's make it in 2 days...
 
Yeah ZZounds kicks major butt getting items shipped. I ordered a pedal Thursday evening and it arrived today.
 
I had a similar experience. Should have drove two hours to get my 5150-III stealth 50w because it ended up being a week due to a bunch of Keystone Cop type crap, lol.
 
I know when shipping things north of the border, UPS clears packages much, much faster than FedEx does.
It has happened multiple times for me over the past year. You usually have to give FedEx an extra day.
With that being said, at the opposite end....FedEx delivers earlier in the day to my area whereas UPS is always at the end of the day.

Ah well.....just have to wait and extra day to enjoy.
