For years I’ve suffered from sub standard recorded sounds and I’ve been trying to diagnose why that is. It finally dawned on me today that perhaps its the cable I’m using to connect from my focusrite solo interface to my computer. Somewhere along the line I lost the cable that came with the interface and started using my gopro cable. I figured since the imterface turned on and worked, its probably working fine. But maybe its whats causing then poor sound quality since its not the cable that was designed for it? Can this be the issue?
