What is hard to translate is with the mid boost off and the tight control lower the amp is extremely expressive and touch sensitive. It is not just an all out metal machine by any means. The mid boost really changes the gain structure and focus of the mids which works in conjunction with the tone stack. This is great for one who loves a thick low mid voice or high mid voice.
