I hear potential for sure. the clip is a bad recording, I mean its fuzzing out everywhere and crackling. static. obviously not a good recording and or compression.

i bet the amp sounds much better

I think its got potential as well, especially the Lead channel. I think it could be brutality, but gonna need some better clips.

I read about this over on SS.org, then hear about it over here. All I can say, is that sounds like a Peavey Valvstate lol. In more direct terms, it sounds like absolute trash. Judging by the video quality visually, I would have to say it is a combination of just a bad recording and potentially bad mic placement.

If I was working for/with Vader, I would be having that clip IMMEDIATELY removed. That is going to turn so many people off of having any serious interest in it, especially from what I heard of them charging around $2200 for mush box.

Mizati20's words are spot on in my book. How can you as someone who works directly with/for the company, and on top of that, being the designer, be okay with posting a clip that sounds like that? That is an absolute marketing disaster as the only buzz that is going to generate is disappointment and potential buyers going elsewhere.

That sounds awful, and exactly what I expected from Vader.

Don't know anything about the company but why did you expect this from Vader, just wondering?
I'm probably being overly negative, never mind...

I'm sure the amp has potential and sounds better in the room.

Just sorta seems like an odd marketing strategy to get into the amp game at this point with so many amps on the market already. I wouldn't think Vader as a company have the capitol to really push through the rough times that will follow trying to launch a new amp brand.. Beyond that, the dude in the video seems really young and doesn't strike me as being knowledgeable or confident in his product, coupled with the bad audio and the whole venture comes off as a boondoggle.

I wish them luck!

Sounds like he tried to record it using a camera mic...
