Fortin Cali Mod Metal Video! Oh yeah!!

A quick metal clip of the Fortin Custom Cali amplifier.

First part of the clip is Saturation switch to the left for all the gain in the universe.

The second part also has the Saturation switch all the way to the left, but has the feel knob brought all the way counter-clockwise for a super tight and raunchy tone with tons of articulation.

More classic Plexi oriented clips are to follow

I just got Calexico Mod fired up an hour or so ago. It was 7:00 AM over here. By 7:30, the neighbors had called to ask if I could turn it down because it woke their kids up

I bought the amp from a guy just to check out really and doubted I would like it, but this amp is a fucking beast. Its made from an 87RI and without a couple of the options. The few minutes that I got to play dialed in pretty much blew me away. Needless to say, I was sort of shocked because I didn't think I would like it all that much, but it really pounds the sheet rock and I likey......

Now, I will probably have to get me a 100 watt made and get some switching options built into the circuitry. Think I just found something to do with this stock Super Bass.

IMO leave the SB for something else and go the SLP route, better yet ask Mike as he likes the 90s SLP platforms.

Play with the switches that take caps in and out of the circuit, lots of roar and brown to be found in there. Put the switch under master in the center for no diodes and gun it.


Have fun, that amp will produce new tones for months.
