You don't even know. Every damn day at work, at least three times, I sing that line.

Cheers for all the kind words guys.

As I play the amp more, and I'm breaking in all of the components, it's getting even richer and juicier, and more focused in the low end.

I'm really impressed. There really isn't other way to put it. This animal is by far the most inspiring piece of equipment I own.

Great tone....but how loud is the f'ker? It's hissing like a nest of cobras! \m/

Wassuuuuup!!

Very Cool Bruddah Greg. With that said, I can tell you from experiance that the more the parts break in the better the amp sounds. What really kills me about the design is how quick the pick attack is on them! It's pretty sick if you ask me !

It's was fuckin loud. Way too loud to talk over, hence why I'm screaming into the camera microphone

Also, plexi-based amps have a bit of hiss, especially with THAT much gain going on. It's just part of the circuit.

It could have been louder, but I also could have been deaf   I'm not considering that an option :)

Yeah dude  I was talking to Mike about the insane immediacy of the amp, and how juicy it is overall. If you take off the clipping, it still rocks without a boost, and if you boost it... well damn... this thing really does it all. I have no desire for any other British flavored amp ;)

yeah, that amp design covers a lot of ground and when I get tired of the clipper circuits, I go right to the middle position and then you get a grea stock'ish marshall sound lol! I'm most definitely digging it. Ive also experimented with Boosts and eq's and that takes that amp into a whole other territory LMAO.

Excellent clip Greg! Glad to hear you're loving your new Custom Cali :)

There's so many tones that can be dialed in with this mod, it's super versatile. I have plenty of different settings that i can PM you and also some cool tones you can get by trying different preamp tubes in certain positions!

That clip sounds like V30's, am i correct? If so, that is my favorite choice of speaker to use with the Cali

It's late here and i gotta get some sleep, but i'll PM you the info tomorrow

Thanks Dan.

Hey Greg how did you have the amp setup on the second half of that clip?

Good stuff Greg, sounds great. Can't wait to get my SLP back from Mike.

So now the question that's on everyone's mind...

Fortin Cali JMP versus the JVM you USED to own.

That sounds great! You can really hear the tightness/quick attack. Which speakers were you using?

By the way, your voice at the beginning reminded me of Larry David doing Steinbrenner on Seinfeld.
