Thought I'd post up a clip of a song I'm working on. I have to add the bass line and a lead yet. Well, vocals too, but that's not my department. :)

EDIT:Do you guys think there's too much lowend/woofyness, ect, ect? I just burned this clip onto CD via Wave Burner to hear through my old school Infinity SM152's. The results kind of shocked me. Doesn't sound nearly as good. Too boomy, not enough punch, too round and dark. It's so messed up because everything sounds good through these speakers!

I'm wondering if it's Wave Burner degrading the sound quality? I dunno, I'm really sort of a noob when it comes to this stuff. Maybe I'll upload the one on CD and compare them. Hmmmm, that would make sense huh?

Anyway, please let me know what you think/how it sounds on your system and what you would change.

Going to add this to my original post with an update. Really appreciate some feed back

Guitars sound pretty bad ass. I love the mid grind tone to it.

Which Fortin?
It's a Modded Super Lead (PTP Metro) (upgraded OT) with the Anton Lavey mod :) I'm sure Mike will chime in. He can shed more light on it.

MAYBE around 2:05 could be "woofy" but I am not hearing this, would need bass into the context to have a better understanding.

Listening on Nearfields now blaring and it sounds great...............maybe the toms and the drums esp the double bass at the end are throwing you off? Tighten the drums up first, esp the kicks.

My wife is yelling at me now..............end of my review.

Thanks a lot Scotty, I appreciate it mang.

Yeah, Mike is just total class all the way. Far beyond anybody I have ever dealt with in the gear game. An all around genuinely nice person with one hell of an ability to build/tweak amps. I wish I lived closer to him. I'd drive him friggin nuts!!! LOL!!

Absolutely killer!!! Awesome clip, tune and playing. 7 thumbs up.

The first thing I though was tightening up the drums, bringing the guitars up in the mix, and add some eq to get the highs out a bit more. That's what I'm hearing on these speakers. Going to upload the one on CD now and compare through my monitors.

Never mind, having technical difficulties Going to go punch a baby.

No, not really. :emofag: :grim:
