The first and only 100% handmade Cali, and the first Fortin I will have in my possession... need I mention I'm pretty excited

Clips to follow on the weekend or earlier. Expect face melting tones ;)

Anyone who has played Scott's Cali knows a taste of what this thing was built to do... I have some DIs that are ready to be reamped ;)

CLIPS:

Here is my buddy Jaymz's Narcosynthesis Nevermore Cover DI tracks, reamped through the Cali. Who says a Plexi can't do balls to the wall:

He is an insane guitarist from The Ultimate Metal Andy Sneap Forum, and actually won the Nevermore cover contest and got a free Jeff Loomis guitar as his prize :D

If you do not give us clips you suck!!! :gethim: ;) Congrats and enjoy

Jim

 wow, congrats man, HNAD! That looks killer, can't wait to hear this beast!

I will follow through with clips, or shall lightning strike me and my amp!

Very nice
I was wondering when this would show up, I was talking to Mike the other night and he was telling me about this amp. Who did the faceplate for you? It looks great!
What options did you get?
Cant wait to hear it

It has adjustable bias so it can use any quad of tubes, the hair and thump switches, a variable impedance input pot instead of the spongy/tight switch, and just the home-brewed Fortin goodness.

My buddy Mike did the panel. He actually took the measurements from the Metroamps Plexi panel, and used the holes to create a new panel. It was a little too thick, but that was Front Panel Expresses fault. Regardless, the thing turned out amazing. I can't wait to open this beast up

If you need Mike's info, I can get it for you. He also builds and designs signal processing hardware for recording purposes.

Congrats on the new head  I can't wait to hear the clips of it.

Congrats Greg, I know you have been waiting hard on this one

One down and one to go.................

Yeah, Scott. I've been planning for this ever since the last Fortinfest after I played your Cali for the first time. That amp is the epitome of the hot-rodded Marshall sound to me. With the added options, and the best transformers Mike could use, I think I'll be set on the British voicing from now on.

Cali tone is all in the yellow p-touch stickers.

Sorry Greg

Greg,
Looks like it will be delivered today

If you get the chance, I'd like you to get together with Ralph and possibly Ryan. It would be great to get some feedback from all the recent Cali amps. Ryan's was done in a 1959HW. He wanted all the switches on the back of the amp
