Jaymz's Narcosynthesis DIs are probably a great idea. I may use some of Kyle's given his permission. They're always a lot of fun, and have an 80's touch. I've been meaning to make a bunch of DIs myself, but I'm FAR too busy mixing and reamping other people's stuff. I also lent my DI box out to a band who is tracking guitars themselves over in the next town, so that ain't happening this week

It has adjustable bias so it can use any quad of tubes, the hair and thump switches, a variable impedance input pot instead of the spongy/tight switch, and just the home-brewed Fortin goodness.

My buddy Mike did the panel. He actually took the measurements from the Metroamps Plexi panel, and used the holes to create a new panel. It was a little too thick, but that was Front Panel Expresses fault. Regardless, the thing turned out amazing. I can't wait to open this beast up

If you need Mike's info, I can get it for you. He also builds and designs signal processing hardware for recording purposes.

Thanks man, I've been talking to him for several months about another one-off build, the options have changed a little bit between when we started talking about it and now, but I'm really excited about sending him my JMP. I just gotta finalize what exactly I want, its been harder than I thought it would be
I think it will end up being a maxed out Cali, with a few changes sprinkled on it
