Great. That amp sounds like a beast. What was the gain set like on that clip. Was there more room? If so, holy crap!

The gain was at about 1 o'clock for both the rhythm and the solo. I usually use the gain around noon for rhythms but didn't move it back after I was soloing.

The amp wasn't very loud, either. It sounds pretty good low but cranked through 2 1960BVs it is an unstoppable force!

What's hilarious is I've never heard a Friedman or Fortin clip that really bowled me over until today in which I've seen a Friedman KS mod vid that really knocked my socks off and then this. Jesus Christ I'm going to need an endorsement from fucking Tums for some all encompassing GAS!!!

Yeah, the Friedman stuff is great. I played a loaded Marsha at Dave's shop and it was awesome. Definitely would love to have one of those bad boys.

It is a blast to play. That is what makes an amp great, it makes you want to play. When you have a guitar and an amp that do that...you know the rest.

Another way to say it is that Jason brought out what the mod can really do in the right hands, it was a combined effort I knew that he was going to slay on that amp.

Thanks, Mike! The amp makes me want to play so it is most definitely a combined effort. I haven't messed with the preamp tubes because my 412s are at the rehearsal space and I want to do that when I have them at the house. I can't wait to get the DM cabs, I got to hear them at the Megadeth show a couple weeks ago and they sounded great with the JVMs so I know they slay with the EP!

Yup. My singer is all over me for that, too. Our next show I will be rocking the red pants...not leathers, though, Dickies.
