The Cali is more of the classic hot rodded marshall and is Mike's twist of the Jose mod. The Hulk is a gain monster which will be the Natas but built from the ground up with Mike's parts and designs.

Natas will hopefully be out in the spring of 2010.

I played a loaded Marsha at Dave's shop a couple months ago and it was killer for sure. I had the BE with the saturation switch going and it was very cool. Tried the HBE with the saturation switch and it was too much. I can't imagine how anyone would need that much gain and Dave agreed with me. Dave's mods sound awesome, no doubt.

Thanks, Mike! The amp makes me want to play so it is most definitely a combined effort. I haven't messed with the preamp tubes because my 412s are at the rehearsal space and I want to do that when I have them at the house. I can't wait to get the DM cabs, I got to hear them at the Megadeth show a couple weeks ago and they sounded great with the JVMs so I know they slay with the EP!

funny,i feel the same way...the HBE with the SAT switch activated is CRAZY high gain.too much for me too.and yeah,Dave F agrees.he mentioned that to me,also.imo,the BE mod w/SAT switch turned "on" is TOTAL cameron feel/tone & gain level...seems just right.anyways,i will be making one more vid with the HBE and SAT switch on,but i'll roll the GAIN level back a bit. ...............maybe i can satisfy the "super gain freaks" out there

I used PhotoBooth ( ) to make that video and it mirrors everything for some reason. Since that was my first video, I did some research and made another one with Quicktime Pro. I haven't posted that one yet but it is normal and not mirrored. Quicktime Pro works sooooo much better and you can choose the level of audio fidelity which makes a big difference; although it takes up more HD space and takes longer to upload because of that.

^^^^ I'm pretty sure that one of the channels on the Fortin Meathead can sound that good or better. The upcoming Fortin Natas will be in that zone as well.

Yeah, Chris. At least you can still play yours if you want and you have a Meathead coming so I don't wanna hear it!!

This amp is definitely unforgiving. If you aren't playing spot-on, it will tell on you!

Most of the time I have the Girth at 11:00 and the Grind at 1:00. I really like those controls. I never touch the bass, mid, treble, I just adjust the Girth and Grind 99% of the time. They are so useful it is crazy.

I bet you are chomping at the bit waiting on that Meathead. That is gonna be siiiiick.
