Fortin Zuul cannot use 12volts.

I saw in some threads here suggestions to use 12 volts for more headroom. :doh:

I decided to ask Mike about it before trying it and he said NO.

He said Zuul “was always 9 volts”, and that he “doesn’t know where people get their information from...”

FYI.
 
Yeah I remember seeing that a while back and while I was interested in trying it I couldn’t find anything to support it. Glad I played it safe.

Mine still runs at 12 volts from the day i got it, Mike told me that i could do that.
Keep in mind that mine is a prototype, maybe Mike changed it before production.

I guess so then, he did say don’t do it. Notice a big difference? I really wanted to use it at 12.

Tristan... no replies to my messages on Reverb, texts, or email to your gmail for the last 10 days? Please contact me to resolve the repairs regarding the Diezel. Not like you so I hope nothing is wrong? Hard to understand when you are posting on here? Trying to be patient man.
