Hang in there bro... Intestinal diseases can be beyond brutal... I got your back with mojo.
From 2007-2010 for three years I battled serious diverticulitis requiring hospitalization 4 times. I had so many additional complications from kidney infection issues to bladder issues because my colon was abscessing into my organ cavity causing infection on my left side of my body.
I almost bought the farm at one point and they did a major surgery to yank out 13 inches of my large intestine Pretty much the exact same surgery you would have for colon cancer with out the Chemo afterwards... I was also inches away from having a colostomy bag too.. not fun.
I was in ICU for 6 days and in the hospital for 12 total. On day 3 in ICU I was having kidney failure and they had multiple people working me to keep me going. I was so jacked up afterwards that I had a nurse at home with me for about 6 weeks after surgery because of ongoing complications. I was down for about 3 months total from surgery to getting back to work. I had some really bad days after surgery while recovering at home praying to God to just let me die at one point the pain was so bad.
ON THE BRIGHT SIDE... After recovery, I totally changed my diet quite a bit and got real serious about health and exercise both physical and mental afterwards.
I worked very hard to keep stress under control and most of all "I quit the band scene". I needed to focus more on diet, proper sleep exercise and most important my family... I feel pretty amazing almost 5 years later and will never go back to processed foods and fried crap, no sleep and the life style that comes from working a full time career and then burning the candle at both ends every evening and all weekend long... I probably didn't even go to a show for over a year afterwards but glad I made a serious effort to change my focus for the better.
