Yeah believe it or not VHT has seen a significant increase in price on the used market over the last few years and people are paying it.

I remember paying $1,100 for a 100CL. Sold it to a member here for $900 in installments no less. Then saw him as $1,400 and I think he got it lol.


Anyway good luck. Ive seen a couple of fair deals in the Facebook groups, otherwise I've only seen a good markup lately.

Yeah VHT/Fryette prices have went up big time in the last couple years. It's worth the money though, that's for sure.

They really are man. I've owned a dozen or so "high end" tube amps and the VHT is the one I wish I never sold.

Anyway sorry wasn't trying to invade your thread OP was just pointing out the price spikes being common now.

It's also because Reverb is driving prices of gear up. Sellers have to jack up asking prices to cover the 7.7% or whatever it is now.

I grabbed a 50cl last year for $700...dead mint with the original box.

Shit I bought my Deliverance 60 BRAND NEW for like $950 about 12 years ago. The price of a new Deliverance 2 60 is like 3 or four times that

Prices on reverb, especially the past 6 months, at least the stuff I’ve been looking for, Anderson, Tyler, suhr, etc. is higher than ever before, but not just high, it’s bordering on absurd and stupid.
