It's also because Reverb is driving prices of gear up. Sellers have to jack up asking prices to cover the 7.7% or whatever it is now.

Prices on reverb, especially the past 6 months, at least the stuff I’ve been looking for, Anderson, Tyler, suhr, etc. is higher than ever before, but not just high, it’s bordering on absurd and stupid.
