Avoid this seller.

They use an alt account to increase the bid by $150+ in the last few seconds if they do not get the price they want. I thought that is what the minimum met was for??

Either way - not their first time doing this according to the internet and I would bet they will do the same on the next 3 auction pieces as well.

Yep. They have it listed that there are zero refunds given on auctions as well.

The body will be relisted - guarantee it and since eBay uses AI - it cannot see or understand what is 'fraudulent' about this activity.

Like just list it at the price you want and if I want it I can just decide to buy it instead of thnking I'm going to get a great deal and you cheating me out of it. That is not 'wasting' someone's time - it is actively stealing it.

I knew someone who used a sock puppet account to bid $10,000 on a painting many years ago on Ebay. Obviously, it was in hopes that it would attract interest from others so that they could pay a lot for that painting. The person forgot that Ebay takes a cut and he ended up owing several hundred dollars to Ebay on a sale that never really happened.

Looks to be the same. I am sure their buy now stuff is solid - their auction tactics are shady though. Just set a reserve price for the piece - it isn't that hard.

They were Franklin Guitar Works on Ebay as well, it recently changed.

I have purchased many things from them but not lately as I am always outbid.

But I did buy a Fender Ultra Stratocaster neck but it had backbow, they apologized and took it back with no issue.

I bought a new Slime Green satin Jackson American Series Soloist from them on Reverb for $1299. Factory sealed about 2 years ago. I hated the satin finish and flipped it, but it was a pretty killer deal and was flawless, otherwise.

Aaaaand the douche did it again on the other listings. No one came in last second and bought a body with a high bid of $160-180 and dropped $300-400+ - didn't happen.
