Hi Guys,

I need a bit help with my Friedman ASM-12? I have recently bought a FR Amp Friedman Asm 12 to match with my Fractual AX 8. It worked perfectly for the first two three weeks, then it suddenly lots its volume to half and it sounds distorted badly as well. I tried different volume settings, power cords, cables and rigs, the result is exactly the same: distorted. The volume knob is set to 3 or 4 as usual. While playing, I noticed the red limit indicator is flashing with my pitch.

Is this something I can fix myself?

Thanks for help

I would get a hold of Dave Friedman and tell him what is going on. He might know right away what the problem might be. I haven't had that problem with mine but if I were to guess, it is like the limiter or power station is overloading the system but you are not getting the sound coming thru. I'm not much of a handyman with stuff like that but someone will definitely be able to hook you up over at Friedman.

Hi Plank Cranker Wanker

Thanks for that, it is pretty unusual as I have never heard this issue before as some friends are using ASM-12 as well. Not too sure what happened to mine.
