Is the MXR 10 Band the old blue kind or the newer black?

Old blue.

Except for no gain and volume sliders, the freq bands seem to be the same, so what's the difference really?

So, comparing the MXR blue 6 band and the old Boss GE-7, the frequency sliders are the same except the Boss has a 3.6k and a volume slider. I prefer the MXR EQ, it has a sizzle the GE doesn't.
