Ok all, here's my "redo" of the Friedman Butterslax demo. All 3 channels over 3 vids. Full knob turning, etc.

Vid 1 is Channel 1 - Clean to Super Crunch
Vid 2 is Channel 2 & 3 - Mid to High Gain
Vid 3 will be a full mix clip (coming soon...)

Vid 1 of 3 - Ch. 1 "Clean to Mean"

Equipment used was:
• Friedman Butterslax head
• Balaguer "SD" guitar (Limited Edition)
• Balaguer "Feral" humbucker set
• Two Notes Torpedo Studio
• Hop Pole "Big Beast" Zilla 4x12 (V30's, Ribbon 101 and Dynamic i5 mic's)

Kept the recording pretty damn true. No post "magic" done except adjusting some output level. This came out (IMHO) INFINITELY better than the original demo I did. Hop you all dig it.

The full mix clip is still being edited but will upload soon!

What a great sounding amp! Nicely done demo! Much thanks for sharing!

Thanks man! I am so glad I was able to redo the vids for this. The Anthrax full mix sounded good but the audio on the first playthrough came out super low so I'll likely pull it from the site.

Side note, I did a DIY lighting rig and this is probably the best LOOKING vid I've done to date...

Sounds great! Thanks for sharing man. Always wondered what the gain and feel is like with the bs. Seems like a sweet amp.

It really is a sweet amp! So much punch and authority. More gain on tap than you'd ever need but all usable. Even channel 1 gets amazing hard rock/metal tones imho.

You sure know how to make it sound like a million bucks!!

Damn! Thanks man! Glad you dug it. Going to do one for the Dirty Shirley. I know there's a ton of vids out there for it but figured, "I own it, may as well"

Also going to go back and redo some of my older vids as I have gotten some new production gear and can do them much more justice at this point.

Thanks again for checking the vids out! What an amazing amp!

Nice run-through
Thanks for checking it out! Would LOVE to do one for the JJ, Phil X and Buxom as there are not a lot of vids out there of either of those...

Awesome demo digging the machine gun picking
Thanks! Trying to get the vocals finished and get the last vid done showing it in a full mix.

Did this one last time I had th amp

It was featured on the Celestion Official IR website which was cool.

Finally made time to watch them all, nice job brother! Your video and sound quality definitely go up a few notches with each new vid

Hey thanks man! I appreciate that feedback! I am looking back through old demos and will likely start re-doing a bunch of them now that I have a better handle on the process. Will suck to lose some of the views but I would rather have stronger vids out.

LOL! Glad to be of service! My work here is done!

It's moving up the foodchain for me... Having been immersed in the JJ for a couple weeks now, the Friedman freight-train is a very appealing, intriguing and attractive avenue to seemingly check out. I'm liking what I hear - a lot.

Just bought a new Butterslax, should be here by end of next week! Very excited!
