Friedman Cali or Luxxtone El Machete?

I’m on the fence. Never played either one but have heard great things about both. If anyone has experience I’d appreciate the help.
I’m not too picky about guitars, I can hardly tell the difference of a $200 guitar or a $2k guitar, that being said, I’ve played a couple Luxxtone guitars and they blew me away, only guitar I ever played that made me go “wow”, for what thats worth.

Dude... the Luxxtone Jerry sent me to demo was amazing. I only played one of the Cali's at NAMM 2 years ago. Also killer but there's just something about the Luxxtone stuff that is king of the heap for me.
It’s like the difference between a great custom shop build and an individual, luthier built guitar.

I’m curious how do you guys like Luxxtone’s compared to a good Custom Shop Charvel San Dimas? I’ve not tried any Luxxtone’s yet, but love a good Charvel Custom or vintage one

Both guitars play and sound amazing. Can't get on with the Friedman headstock at all. So my choice is Luxxtone.

Never played the Friedman’s but I’ve owned 3 and still have 2 Luxxtones, amazing guitars and the nicest guy to deal with if you ever have a question or issue.

Any and every Luxxtone is 100% set up and worked over by a pro! Each guitar is meticulously looked at and worked over for optimal use. I know. I used to work there! ;)

We have a legend here amongst us! I really dig those j. Choppa with the sandblasted looking finish. They don’t have many pics and their website is a bit hard to navigate. Can you get different trems? I run from Floyds

I have an unfinished body with a dual hum and a Les Paul bridge setup for sale if you’re interested.

Luxxtone all day long for me, I have had both and even though the friedman is a great instrument, I do not care for the headstock. that was the reason I sold it. I love my luxxtones though.
Hey man, I wanted to buy that guitar you had sold. You have the contact info of the buyer? I'm willing to throw down some cash for it.

I have a pair of GJ2’s I’m going to be selling soon…not exactly the same as the Friedman, but the pedigree is there.

Not familiar with the F guitars, but am very familiar with the work of Luxxtone. All I can say is that their work is awesome. I've known Jerry Bizon for some years now and not only is he a person of excellent character, his luthiery skills are top notch. My next electric guitar purchase will be a Luxxtone
