I had only seen the guy in guitar magazines and I was shocked to hear such cool riffs and great tone when I heard the video. Some of the things he was playing reminded me of George Lynch. Not in the solos, but in the parts he was playing. I was very impressed and need to check out more stuff from Mastodon.
