Friedman Jose First Impressions

This is the first time I've seen one at Sweetwater's used site. There's another one on Reverb too. Interesting that the seller on Sweetwater said he plans to buy a different Friedman than the Jose.

While I love hearing clips of great amps, I will say I prefer to have at least a few minutes of no sauce whatsoever so I can actually hear the amp with nothing washing out the things I’m listening for. Even just a little delay makes it harder to tell. Reverb even more so.
I’m not anti effect at all, I love them as much as anyone, but I do think that some of the character of that particular amp becomes slightly smeared when sauce is applied .
