Ok so I bought a Ceriatone JCM800 2204 and had it shipped straight to Dave for modding. I'm getting the C45, Brown Eye and FAT switch.

Should be ready to go in good time. Looking forward to hearing it. Will report back with some clips once I get it. Can't wait.

Any others with modded 800's or similar around these parts?

Nice one. I don't recall seeing any Friedman modded Ceriatones before.

Dave currently has my '78 2204, which (if I remember correctly) is getting kitchen sink, FAT, SAT, JBE, and simple clean. Should be completed soon.

I used to have a 4 input JCM 800 50 watt with BE and SAT options which sounded great too, though a bit different and less gain-y than the other ones I've played.

Sounds good..is the power section different on the 4 inputs? Maybe that was the difference?

It should be the same. The difference would be in the preamp section, but I'm guessing that would be completely reworked anyway. The modded amps do vary a little in tone, but with the three I've played so far, the base sound is the same (if that makes any sense)
