Had a chance to play my amp yesterday and turn it up a bit.

I am amazed at the sounds jumping out of this thing. The overtones are huge and the amp is wicked tight in terms of low end and over all 'presence'. Favorite thing about it is that at the core of the KS mod, it still feels and responds like my stock Plexi but with a faster attack and more fluid response. Very percussive and resonant.

I'm using two Scumback BM75's (65W each) in a 4x12 and I cut two 12" birch pieces of wood to seal the other two holes in the cab. The amp is just ripping with this little mod. Tight lows; ripping mids and smooth highs. I know I'm late to the Friedman camp here but I wanted something I knew I'd keep forever and it was Lugo's 2010 Amp Shootout that made me pull the trigger on this.

Thought BE was my favorite but I jammed on HBE with the gain at 7 and I was in heaven. Five straight hours with this with a smile on my face. Articulate and loads of gain yet still cutting and refined.

Clips soon to follow. I have my iPhone and Tascam IM2 ready to roll. Need to think of something to play instead of wanking incessantly. Also, I still need to get new knobs and grill cloth for my cabinet.

Thanks man.

Setting up my man cave currently. Once that's done in a few days I should have something by then.

Is the amp 50w or 100w?

100W stock but I had Dave reinstall my 1/2 power switch.

I have a couple of clips on the main page right now. HBE is the most current.

Thanks man.

I might try something at 50 later in the week to create more sag on the tubes.
