Is it possible to have these switchable on one module or would it just be say one of the voicing mods with different levels of gain?

What is the best base platform for the C45/BE/HBE?

To clarify I already bought used BE (Plexi) and HBE (SL+) modded...so before I go get a C45 on a third module, am wondering if the voicing/gain could be backed onto a pre-exisiting mod?

Dave modded an Egnater single channel SL++ module to an BE/HBE module. It has a voicing switch on the front panel. When it's out, its an HBE. When engaged, it reduces the gain and changes the voicing just a bit approximating the BE. Not a true BE, but very close. I like it alot.

Im curious to know if it can be done with 3 voices/gain levels on one module.

I have a C45/BE Randall Module (plexi), and a HBE module with a voicing switch that makes it more like the Black Eye. No way to get the BE and HBE on the same module according to Dave.

Another suggestion, have Dave mod your amp itself. You wont regret it!!!

I bought my Egnater M4 used and it came with a BE/HBE (SL2 modified) module . It has what appears to be a normal 3 position toggle for bass and treble . Does what you said above apply to my module ? Thanks

Sounds like you have the dual channel version which would be different. The one I have is a single channel. I'd call Dave Friedman and see if he can tell you if he did any mods to the voicing switches. The switch on mine is a push-button switch, not a 3-way toggle.

I can't do 3 voices. Its really either mod a plexi to have a BE or C45 or mod a SL+ to be a HBE or A lower gain one that is close to a BE.
