So I recently watched some Friedman videos...most specifically the BE-100 and Dirty Shirley.

I also watched countless Henric Hermansson videos where he rebuilds the Laney and Simms-Watts PAs.

Here is my take away.

This is the tone I have been after. It is, to me, a vintage, vibe, groove, with ass behind it...but not hi-gain.

So am I too believe that these guys base there designs and mods on the Marshall circuit?

Which leads me to my next question.

Since there is no way modding my two Tremoverbs will ever release that tone to my fingers...should I consider moving in that direction?

If so, what are your suggestions?

Hermansson is a quality tone.. my vote is for that or the marshall. the 2555x is released now and its a great amp.

Did you get yours??

The Landry is amazing too.

So what do you guys think is different about them.

Hermansson has amazing attack.

And all three have quality tone, feel and attack.

I am spinning in circles.

I've had the BE 100 for about a year and I couldn't be happier. It's ended my tone search because it sounds fantastic and is so versatile.
