Dave,

I saw on another forum mention of a Phil X signature which has the BE channel with switchable more gain/boost, a built in variac, fx loop etc.

Is there any other info you can share with us?

This sounds like the perfect amp for me especially after selling my BE100.

Thanks!

P.S. If anyone going to NAMM sees this, please take pics. Thanks!

Ok it's a simple amp designed for a player to use his guitar volume and dynamics. Single channel with 2 Masters foot switchable. Its has a variac switch on the back, loop and line out. The last feature it has is a gain cut switch. This in one mode is similar to a 800/ jmp and then 2 higher gain settings with one being sort of like the BE.. The look, well you will see.

Thanks, Dave! Any idea on the price point for the amp that you can reveal? Sounds like an awesome amp.

Wow, the price of this amp in Germany is €2800,-
Holy moly. A one channel amp. I don't want to hear any of you guys complaining the US prices if Diezel amps. ;) You can buy here a VH4 for that money.

I know what you mean and I would LOOOOVE to try any Friedman amp but in Germany they are really expensive for the features they have.

It's the sound you're buying, not features IMO. Great sound with only one feature is worth it to me.

Well you could go with the BE100 which is two channels. The feel of the Friedman stuff is amazing. Super dynamic response and tone for ages. ;) It's really the amp that Marshall should have made but couldn't.

Yeah I know and I think I'll adore the tone because only I've heard are the YouTube vids. But Diezel isn't shitty sounding at all. So damn cool sound, a shit load of features and the same price.....so it's damn hard here for Friedman amps. (Unfortunately)
I would love to own a be100.

A shit load of features is nice, but it doesn't mean you'll actually use them that often. Just saying. Diezel's and Friedman's are about as different as can be.

Absolutely - I never bought my BE for features, sure I was looking for a two channel amp, with a good clean - but gain tone is the driver.

Thanks for posting the videos so quickly!

The amps sound sweet! Surprised the Phil-X will have LESS gain than the BE he demoed so well in that killer video.

Boy, Mark Day is really becoming a VH master!
