pickups are Lollar special s (single coil). the beginning is the bridge pup with tone rolled off, neck pup at end of clip tone all the way up

That is some great tone! Nice to hear a Strat thru a Friedman amp for a change. Great blues/ fusion tone.

Thanks, IMO the PT-20 is a great low volume amp. It's under estimated in other styles outside of high gain

Honestly I don't know yet! Lol. Bought the amp from a forumite here and had it shipped directly to Friedman! It was "pre s-switch" version...

I talked with Dave today about modding an older PT20 to Wildwood specs with the Fat and Sat switch. He said $100 plus shipping. I would probably add in the S switch as well now that I think about it......

I was not aware that a clean channel was possible! May have to look at that too.....

It's the shipping that would kill me as I live in NY. For added gain, I just throw an OD in front.

Shipping would kill me too (Hawaii). But I would love to have my PT20 updated to WildWood specs, didn't realize that was possible. I wonder how much it would weigh without the head shell?

Can't imagine it would make that much difference. For $100, I'd love to add the 2 switches but that's not really anything I can't get by adding an OD or 1.

Now that you mention the headshell, I've always wanted to make a slightly larger one for my PT.
