Thanks Paul... was gassing hard for a clip before I 'maybe' clunk down a payment plan option and grab a 50watt Runt. That clip hasn't stopped me from still considering a Soldano HR25 or Redplate Magica tho :D

Thanks again bro. Cheers

Hard to tell by this demo. I am curious to see how it stacks up to the small box.

Man... a Ceriatone Yeti does the same thing, and (to me) does it better. For less. It's not two channels though. From that clip, I don't like the rhythm sounds. Seems like it's struggling to breathe. But the lead sound is very nice, I gotta say. I like the glassy top-end that pierces out on the attack in that clip.

does it have xlr out? kinda love that idea..had the mini mark and wasnt bad maybe this is the next level of that? sounded real good in the demo

Can one perhaps consider this a cheaper version of the Smallbox combo? Looks like a great setup and the price is probably a lot more affordable.

Hard to tell from one video, but sounds a little different from a BE or Smallbox. Slightly buzzier, grainier, but it sounds real good to me though. Sounds a little punchy too and that would be a good thing. Best of all, made in the USA at the price! Dave Friedman is my new hero!

To me, all that comes through in these clips is what i call the weird Friedman mids... boxy and soft sounding at times. I think these amps need to be EQ'd a certain way. More forgiving on your lead tone and playing though for sure.

Found it on youtube (assuming it's the Sweetwater video). Stillonly see a black stripe where the embedded video should be :(

Not a good demo. Really want to try one. The xlr out is a great feature.

I'd wait until someone other than Sweetwater releases demos. If that's how they really sound (I seriously doubt it), they won't sell a single unit. Sweetwater IMO has terrible amp demos and the real sound is far better than what they record. It's a real letdown because I exclusively buy all my new gear from them and love the company, but their recordings just are awful.

tough crowd
I can hear the gain structure, which is enough to know it is a going to be a good seller
sounds like it sits mid way between the Smallbox and BE, which is perfect

I so agree with this. The cat in the video is a worse player than me and I don't demo gear bc I don't think I'm good enough too. I have to seek out demos from other sources before I buy from Sweetwater. It should not be that way.

There is another demo for the 20 watt which also does not sound that great to me, I think its the demo production, not the amp. The 20 watt has a built in load so you can do direct recording with no cab, thats kinda neat...

Demo doesn't sound too good. No way it actually sounds like that...
