I really like both. I own the smallbox and its the best amp i have ever owned. Smallbox covers more ground but the ds is a special little beast. Could justify owning both or a be100 and ds or ds mini.

I found my smallbox a bit soft with a jj in v1. I switched to a tung sol and it changed the amp quite a bit.

I dunno what's the hype here. To me it sounds super thin/trebly towards the beginning and then at around 8:44 and later, it's super bloated...
