Got to play the Dirty Shirley today at TM and have to say it's a great classic sounding ( JTM-45 - based) amplifier with some sizzle and full of expression/dynamics. I played a strat through it, so it can get that clean sparkle with just rolling off on the volume knob and still retain a big sound. Perfect for doing classic rock and bluesy stuff, and if u need more soup, its got it!

Very cool, I bet you put that amp through it's paces.

I am really digging playing strats through marshalls due to what you said, they clean up so quickly and maintain that strat type vibe.

Would love to hear a clip of you playing through it!!

Played this amp again today with a Suhr Classic. OMG! I really, really, like this amp. It sounds more like JTM50 with more gain available on tap. Very dynamic, lots of harmonic richness...

So who is buying me one for x-mas?

Is Dave going to offer a Hot Carl mod soon too? You know, dirt in front kinda dealio??

I think this may be my next amp purchase, got to check it out at the LA amp show. Really digging the low gain amps lately and love anything that Dave does!

I want one of those....even though it doesn't have an effects loop....

I heard Pete Thorn playing the first a while ago. Amazing all the way around.
