Fryette CLX - am I covered?

Everyone.... I am toying with the idea of getting a CLX.
However, I do own a GP3 and a VHT Classic power amp.

Do I really need the CLX or do I have the full menu in stereo?
I wouldn't be unhappy because .... it's just getting too much. ;-) (if that's possible at all).

I Had both setups. I think, if you don’t have the gain mod done on the GP3, you’ll probably dig the CLX more. That is, if you are looking for the most possible gain out of each amp. I liked both, but ended up gigging out with the CLX.

Steve Fryette says that the GP3 actually does not have less gain compared to the Ultralead. I have not compared that and thought the Gainmod is not really "officially".

I can understand however taking the rack to a gig is a bit annoying.

I've owned a gp3 and later a cl100, and the cl seemed a bit more punchy and 3d. After the whole rack thing, i've gone to heads and haven't looked back much. I someday want to get a UL and mod it, probably similar to the gp3 mod.

I also own a CL...maybe, I should just plug the GP3 in that and end up with more channels...
