Fryette Deliverance 2

I honestly think matching cabs for fryette amps are a always a good investment.

The F70 sounds a little more dense and is more efficient than the P50 - so it sounds louder and packs a bigger punch.

If you AB the cabs side by side as we demonstrated at NAMM, the differences are dramatic.
But if you reset the volume of the amp when switching, it turns out that the P50 and F70 have a lot of tonal similarities. They should since the F70 design is a progression of the P50 and was mainly intended to overcome the problem of running a pair in the FB212 cab with a high powered amp like the D120 or UL. They can handle more power.

Page Hamilton came by to check them out and discovered the same thing. He also figured out that he was able to back the gain off on the amp a click or two using the F70 to retain the clarity of the P50. Players who wished that the D120 (or 60) and UL had a bit more saturation will find it when paired with the F70.
Apparently they hit the mark for Page since he's already decided to take them out for the next leg of the US Betty Tour.

So the upshot is, the P50 is still a valid design and will continue to be available.
The F70 will be an upgrade path that will retain the original character of our amplifiers sound and enable you to take it to another level.
The F90 is still a work in progress, which is why it's not listed as available on our site.

The Deliverance has had my attention for a little while now. Seems like a nice update that sticks to the heart of the original. Good idea Fryette!
Outside of my Quick Rod, the Deliverance 120 is right up there for "favorite amp of all time.

Its my #1 ....tonally superior even to the Ultra Lead i had. The D60+D412 cab combination can top any amp you might think of imho. Killer organic feel.

Would a Bogner 4x12 w/ V30s do this amp justice or are the p50e's(?) required?
Maybe I had a bad cab but I tried a D412 with my D120...much prefer celestions to the eminence. I run a Marshall cab with G12 65s, and just picked up an old Trace Elliot B cab with V30s...both killer with the D120.

Same setup I've used for years. It's awesome.

I liked my V30/ K100 Splawn can better than a Fryette can with all Fryette amps

Bozo-Breath...
Is the voicing any different between the F70 & F90 ???

Will the Deliverance 2 have a choke? I know some of the old Deliverance's had them and then they stopped using them. Also is the loop a tube loop?

The gp/di proto sounds pretty darn good...

Yeah sounds very good here.

I don't know if mr f can actually pull the "fryette" thing he does with the feedback going even more "back" in the preamp instead of the usuall PI-power tubes-transformer arrangement as the power amp and preamp are separated here.

Unless the GP/DI has a mini power amp?

I'm going to say, my D120 with my Madison oversized cabs was awesome! V30/T-75's in a cross pattern

the gp/di is a 1 watt amp, not a preamp.

Ah ok. makes sense. I saw it on top of his 1U new power amp and thought he played through there. I always had the same question about the gp3/2:90:2 though.

The power station under it is an attenuator/ reamper, like the unleash (but tube powered).

The gp/di has an internal dummy load so you can use it as a regular preamp too.
