Fryette PS2, two speaker cabs and head

Quick question...

I am going to run two 8 ohm cabs out of my Fryette PS2.
PS2 manual states that I have to run PS2 at 4 ohm when using two 8 ohm cabs.

Coming out of head, do I still run it 8 ohm or do I copy the PS2 and set head at 4 ohm?
Only one speaker cable out of head into PS2.

Head at 4ohm into
ps2 at 4ohm into
pair of 8ohm cabs, either daisy chain or separate does not matter

I have a related question. Say I want to use the PS2 in a W/D rig with 2 mismatched cabinets. One is 16 ohm and the other 8 ohm. Would the following be correct?

Amp speaker out direct into 16 ohm dry cab
Amp speaker out into 'amp in' on the PS2 set for 16 ohms
Amp ohm selector set to 8 because it's seeing two 16 ohm loads
PS2 speaker out set to 8 into 8 ohm wet cab

Couldn't the head be set to any ohm setting, as long as the PS2 'amp in' setting matches it?
I've never even looked at a ps2 lol. I just made the suggestion that made the simplest sense, if that makes sense.
A pair of 8ohm cabs will form a resistance of 4ohm, so setting the amp's output and the ps2 in/out at 4ohm keeps things easy to understand.

I was sorta in a similar situation, I use a 8 ohm 2x12. I have a 16 ohm cab laying around not being used.
In the end, I just bought an 8 ohm Creamback, figured safest way to run both cabs.

Got both cabs hooked up this weekend, didn't play a lot, thinking I have the covids or something, ugh...

Anyways, I seem to like a little, lite reverb or delay when I play.
Playing with hb's and the second cab, I never turned on the reverb or delay.
Sounded great.

That seems correct to me
