Anyone ever have trouble reaching Fryette via phone? I tried 6 or 7 times last night and 4 or 5 times today... Keeps going to voicemail... I know they are in California, but I've called within their hours... Kind of frustrating... What if I was having a major problem? Just frustrated I guess cause I want to order parts for my amp to get it back to 100% asap...

Odd... I could understand maybe being off today for the Holiday but last night baffled me. I guess I will have to wait... I just want to get the parts on their way so this thing is down for as little time as possible. I want to enjoy my new purchase haha

email support at fryette dot com or leave a vm. they'll get back to you in a day or 2. they're busy and it's a relatively small operation, so they're unlikely to answer right when you call.

I always had a good quick response from them. Maybe holidays?

 Maybe today... but yesterday? I'll just wait and see if they respond by Monday and I'll try again if not... I wish they offered parts on their site... It would make life a lot easier.

Wouldn't worry, they have always been among the best at answering the phone, emailing, etc. Please make-sure you post when they answer...They are way too good to get drug-down into the "non-responsive" pit for missing some calls in a less-than-24-hour period

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile I found amp corners and a handle... Just need the Fryette Nameplate as well as the Pittbull Ultra Lead nameplate.

Name plates, corners and a handle is all you needed? Holy cow dude.

Well the VHT name plate is beat the hell up and the pittbull emblem is missing... I could do without the handle and corners but I'm re-tolexing also so why not right? I can't stand beat up gear. Everything I own is pristine... I'm just a nut I guess haha...

I also need to get footswitch and want to find out what these amps originally shipped with for tube brands unless someone here knows... Is it the same as what they say on the Fryette site?

You can order nameplates and footswitches directly on the website. The stock tubes have been the same for a while now: Sovtek KT88s, Sovtek 12AX7WB for V1, Ruby 12AT7 for V6, and Ruby 12AX7AC5 HG for the rest.

 They are probably off all week. Maybe if you let them know a couple weeks ahead of time they will have someone on standby Christmas day in case you need any T-shirts or bumper stickers.

They were in - I talked to support about an issue I had earlier this week. They don't have someone standing by the phone, but if you send an email or leave a VM, they will get back to you.

And the dickbag post of the night award goes to.... :jerkit: There's one in every group...

Like I said, whatever I will wait for monday... I've never dealt with a company that no one answers the phone during business hours at all when you call... That just baffles me... but whatever.

I thought maybe you needed major parts like a transformer or something, at least you can still play the amp with the broken logo

No problems over here. But I contacted them through mail. They responded within 24 hours.

I always e-mail them, and they get back within a day. They are a small company, so that can slow things down, however their CS is really great. I sent them my UL recently, and it was less than 3 weeks door to door. $118 total parts/labor/shipping for what some knuckle head was trying to charge me $500 for locally.

Think of this though. How many companies actually answer their phone, and out of the ones that do, how many have a real person answer the phone? I'll take slow phone response over no human response at all any day of the week. I would guess there is a possibility many of them have the entire week off???????? Heck I only worked Monday, and I'm not running a business, just having a bunch of peeps over.

I got an email response from them at about 1am... The only two times I've had to call an amp company was Peavey and Framus. Maybe I was lucky they both answered. I rarely use companys customer support cause I I'm usually able to get what I need Elsewhere. Now I just need to get them to answer one more time to place parts order.

Cool. Their communication is a small bit above average to me, but their "get things done efficiently at a fair price," part of their CS is #1. Just be glad you don't have to get something from Bogner. I've heard they are pretty stacked up these days. I don't know first hand though, but I have friends that have said such, and they are good dudes.

The Framus guys, even though english was not their strong suit were awesome. I got my amp and it was missing 2 knobs and one of the midi channel switching buttons... They sent them to me FREE... I was amazed by that... On the downside, a couple companies I've had to deal with getting parts for my racecars... COMPLETE assholes... So you could understand my concern when I got no response from Fryette initially.
