Van Halen’s Balance album tone at your fingertips. The neck pickup is super hot and sounds amazing.
I have all of the original case candy to go with it - including an incorrect model check sheet and booklet for a Wolfgang special which peavey verified to be original to the guitar by mistake.
All six tuning machines have been replaced with NOS tuning machines directly from Peavey. The original 1999 pearl tuning knobs have been retained - it was a much needed upgrade. When I got the Wolfgang, a few of the tuning machines were stripped from the top, so I spent the money to replace all of them correctly.
Peavey verified the serial number to be within the range of missing numbers and dated it to early 1999. There are only roughly 600 in the world of emerald green color, even less when you include tremolo only and not hard tail.
There are two known imperfections, one small one by the tremolo plate and a large scratch on the side of the guitar. It looks otherwise great. The green is a very thin paint coat which shows how well it’s been cared for.
There’s a lot of life left in the frets.
The reason I’m selling is to clear out gear I do not play. I’m not a collector, and ever since Eddie passed, I just don’t play this Wolfgang. Moving it on to someone else that can properly enjoy it (or collect it).
It is rare to see these for sale - now is your chance.
