Mesa Boogie Mark III green stripe - Sold pending payment

Very good condition, works perfectly. Features graphic EQ and simul-class power section (switchable from 85 watts to 25).

The green stripe is the final, most refined version of the Mark III, introduced shortly before the Mark IV. It's the only version that sports an 85 watt power section akin to the Mark IV (all previous simul-class stripes are 75 watts). In conjunction with various circuit tweaks, this makes the green stripe distinctively bold and clear sounding. This amp has all of the increased gain of the blue stripe without the strident treble. The R2 channel is also greatly improved over previous versions.

Comes in rackmount kit with original Howard magnetic drive fan. Includes footswitch. Loaded with Svetlana power tubes (2x 6L6 and 2x EL34).
