This is the best 7 string I’ve ever owned had a few . Looking for a jackson custom shop hardtail. 6 string . But open to amps and guitars

2600$ to your door trade value at around 2800$

Here is a really rare one! This stunner is a Schecter Masterworks (the top of the Schecter Custom Shop) 007 that was built for the 2008 NAMM Show. The guitar has a flamed Koa tops I’ve ever seen on the top (with a matching flamed Koa headstock and raised metal logo), the body is solid mahogany with a sculpted set mahogany/pau ferro stripe neck, and a Honduran rosewood fretboard with abalone dot inlays. All premium woods went into this build, and it shows! The neck carve is a wonderful medium-C style carve, so it’s VERY comfortable to play!
"It came stock with a TOM bridge and EMG’s, and sadly I don’t get along well with 7 string tune-o-matic bridges or the EMG 707 set, so I sent this one off to my friend who previously ran 2Tek (they are sadly no longer making bridges anymore ?) and he built the final 7-string 2Tek bridge for me before he closed his shop and installed it on this guitar. From there it went off to Philtone (previously worked for PRS, for those unfamiliar with Phil!) for the Lundgren M7C pickup install (the tone pot is a push pull for split coils) and setup in Bb standard."

This guitar is in very good shape overall, however the previous owner left a a small ding in the clear on the top (it’s hard to see in person because of the monstrous figuring in the master Koa top, ironically some scuffing on the back of the body below where the 2Tek was installed, as pictured. After the 2Tek bridge install, I never got around to sending the guitar off to get the old bridge ferrules plugged, it doesn’t affect the guitar in any way other than aesthetically, so I didn’t bother with it. If it’s something that truly bugs you, any skilled tech or luthier should be able to handle that for you no problem (I’ll leave the small chunk of flamed koa that was removed from the top of the guitar for the bridge install in the case should this be something you wanted to have done later!). The original metal ferrules are also included inside the case should you wish to drop those back into the guitar as well if you prefer that to plugging them with wood. Aside from that, this one is in wonderful shape and plays great! The guitar comes with the custom Schecter CS hardshell case and custom shop hang tag.
