What would be the correct way to plug everything in with a Mesa Roadster head and then a Marshall 1960a cab and a Marshall 1960bx cab. And then what would be the correct way to hook everything up but swap out the 1960a for a mesa rectifier cab. Thanks so much

Let's start with the Marshalls.

I assume they are both capable of being run in 16 ohms, mono? If so, plug one speaker cable from an 8 ohm speaker output on your Roadster to the 16 ohm input jack on your 1960A cab, and then plug another speaker cable from the other 8 ohm speaker output on your Roadster to the 16 ohm input jack on your 1960BX. Done.

Two 16 ohm cabs run in parallel (that's the manner in which the speaker outputs on your Roadster head are wired internally) equate to an 8 ohm impedence, hence the need to use your 8 ohm speaker outputs on your Roadster.

I don't know the ohms of your Mesa cab to be able to answer the second half of your question.

Ya, that's what I would have done but the Roadster only has 1 8ohm jack. it also has 2 4ohm and 1 16ohm jack's
