Fulltone going out of business..

I always liked the guy and his products. I was in on every new Fulltone pedal from the beginning, when they were in unfinished boxes w/ lablemakers stuck on. Never had any issues whether email or phone calls. Talked to him many times, especially after a new product was released.

That he had no time for the fags on TGP always amused me. They are still crying over there w/ each Fulltone Closes thread getting locked.
Wish him the best in all future endeavors. One of the first, if not the first boutique pedal manufactures.
Yeah, I was always trying out his new stuff when it was released. The guys that say he was a dick, well, you might look in the mirror. If he detected an attitude or stupidity from you, he was not shy to throw it right back at you.
I still regret selling the purple 70’s pedal I had. That thing just sounded great.

He should open a new company that caters to all the woke-leftists and gender confused queer me-me-me-lenials...

Call it CUCK-TONE.

All rainbow colors, with some unicorns, and drag-queens on the boxes. Have them all made in China and triple the price. They will sell like hotcakes.

Bummer to hear. It's really hard for so many American manufacturers right now, I can't say I blame him.

The Clyde Deluxe is the best non-vintage wah I've ever heard or owned. still have and use it all the time.

I've always love Mikes TERC, too. That's an underrated piece of kit. As well as his EP clone - those are amazing sounding.

Yeah he had the temerity to call out shitlibs for rioting and burning cities down, and got cancelled by Guitar Center and a few other distributors.

Pure speculation, but I wonder if this is away around all the shit California pulls when a business attempts to leave. Might be easier and cheaper to move and restart production elsewhere.

Have had the same wah for years (bought used off GC..lol). Really dig it too. Had a 69 fuzz for a while and that was also great. Think he made some great pedals. An OCD and/either FD2 into a Hiwatt is pretty magical.

Agreed, to be fair though, just about anything into a Hiwatt is magical.

I wonder if he now gets hired on to partner with mxr or something to keep pumping out pedal designs. Because mxr can compete with the "chaina" machine.

You need to try the new Fulltone Supa’Wah.
Dude this thing is KILLER.
I always only used the Whacked setting.
Great selection of cool shit nowadays

I'm not a pedal guy, but I've always liked the OCD.
Always hate to see products made in USA go out of business. But if he had no one to pass it on to that would keep the business at home and after 30 years it was probably time to shut down.

I was the first one to reply to Mike on the Facebook post that caused the cancellation. Being immune since I don't actually exist I found it somewhat amusing.

Mike would occasionally post stuff to weed out the more sensitive to other individuals that have a different subjective bias.

Was very sorry to hear this news the other day - I am a big fan and user of his stuff. Someone else said upstream that this was bound to happen and I guess that's true. But he made some great stuff and left his mark on the industry for sure.

Dude let some of his inner freak flag fly.
His inner freak is a homophobic asshole.

Him and the other asshole John Cruz can hang out together now.

Looks like you guys haven't got the memo. From the Fulltone Facebook page-

Fulltone

Hey everyone, as you know I closed down operations in CA last October, moving Fulltone to the Nashville area.
I’m going to be offering up for sale some of the final pedals built in the CA shop soon, there’s not many, more info to come.
You can also expect to see some new Fulltone products in the stores in the near future, more info soon.

Wow drama

Never owned a Fulltone product but I'm hoping they make more of the Hi Mu. Just listened to some clips.
