Fun Facebook marketplace project

It’s an Ash Warmoth semi hollow body and a Fender neck that appears to have been modified to accept a Floyd Rose locking nut.

The guy bought the body new from Warmoth, bought the neck used of marketplace and then purchased the new Floyd…..that’s as far as he got and decided to get rid of it.

I still need to get a pickguard and pickups.

I can’t tell what the origins of the neck are? American or Mexican?

Should be a fun project!

That looks cool! The neck is Mexican, from 2018. Gonna be cool to see how you fix it up.

I got the body/neck/tremolo/intonation all setup today. Had to re shim the locking nut. Got the trem-stop installed. Neck pitch is good. Action is medium, not super low.

Next…..pickguard and electronics.
